JOB SUMMARY:
Purpose and Scope
The role is responsible for managing and growing our existing product lines while introducing new offerings that strengthen our market position. The Product Manager will lead a cross-functional Product to Market team in conjunction with the Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Sales teams to deliver products that meet customer needs, align with business objectives and achieve profitability targets. This role combines marketing insight, product strategy, and cross-functional leadership to bring innovative solutions to life. The position requires candidate to be able to travel both domestically and internationally as needed. Reports to the Executive Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities within existing product categories and execute strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
- Lead product strategy by defining clear product visions and roadmaps
- Manage product lifecycle from concept and development to launch and end-of-life decisions
- Partner with engineering, operations, marketing, finance and sales to ensure successful product execution and launch readiness
- Responsible for developing a three-year calendar of new product launches, including macro movers, mainstream products and product line extensions, to ensure continued excitement in the field
- Conduct research, analyze trends, and gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and new developments
- Manage product P & L, driving margin improvement and growth opportunities
- Develop launch strategies, pricing and positioning for new products
- Monitor product performance, cost and quality to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, ideally in consumer-packaged goods.
Knowledge and Ability
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences. Solid understanding of P & L, cost structures, and margin improvement strategies is required. Must possess strong project management skills. Domestic and International travel is required.
