What you’ll bring:
- Valid California physical therapist license (no educator credential required)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (virtual/remote work not permitted)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and work independently with minimal supervision
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to elementary students, focusing on maximizing mobility and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Evaluate students’ progress and adjust interventions as needed to support IEP and 504 goals
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Contribute insights to educational teams and assist with educating staff on movement-based interventions within the classroom setting
