Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector for the 2nd shift, which runs from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using inspection equipment, standards, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Create and interpret blueprints.
- Inspect parts using inspection equipment.
- Create rework orders.
- Assist in production, material handling, and machining.
- Research and purchase inspection equipment.
- Perform in-process inspections as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Basic math skills, both standard and metric.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
- Ability to perform accurate work at a rapid pace.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well independently as well as with others.
- Attention to detail.
- Intermediate understanding of inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of alternative inspection methods.
- Ability to determine the best inspection method.
- Ability to research and purchase inspection equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical data, instruction manuals, and test procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a quality inspector/quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 standards.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and operate a CMM.
- Ability to read blueprints.

Work Environment
You will be working as part of a team of five other quality inspectors and a quality manager. The building is climate controlled, clean, and organized!

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
