Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech services within a K-12 educational setting in Cuba, NY. This assignment spans the current school year and focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC)
- Experience providing telespeech services within school environments
- Ability to support students across grades K-12 with a variety of speech and language needs
- Strong munication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families remotely
- Familiarity with educational speech therapy protocols and documentation standards
Responsibilities:
- Deliver telespeech therapy sessions to students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a remote setting
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Utilize telemunication tools to facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions
