We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance team and ensure the optimal performance of all machinery and equipment. This role will be responsible for leading daily maintenance operations, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and supporting production by minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians to ensure machines and equipment are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Develop, schedule, and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and management to prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history.
  • Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production disruption.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in machine maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
