Job Title: AP Auditor
Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid role requiring weekly onsite presence in office, only local candidates in Minnesota or western Wisconsin will be eligible for consideration)
Compensation: $27.00 - $30/ Per Hour dependent on applicable experience

Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization to identify an AP Auditor to join their accounting operations team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, investigating discrepancies, leveraging technology to improve processes, and ensuring payment accuracy. Responsibilities
- Audit and review invoices, payments, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process ACH, wire, check, and electronic payment transactions while meeting established deadlines
- Research and resolve invoice, vendor, and payment discrepancies
- Partner with internal stakeholders to obtain approvals and supporting documentation
- Monitor payment exceptions and work through issues prior to payment release
- Utilize OCR technology, invoice automation tools, and digital workflows to improve processing efficiency
- Support vendor inquiries regarding payment status, remittance details, and account reconciliations
- Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and audit documentation requests
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable, shared services, finance operations, or transactional accounting experience
- Experience working in a high-volume invoice or payment processing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Experience working within ERP systems and multiple accounting platforms
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Experience with AP automation, OCR technology, or invoice imaging tools preferred
