Responsible for safe, timely, and effective care of each patient having invasive or noninvasive special procedures in the Cath Lab and surrounding imaging modalities. This is to include the immediate pre-procedure period, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure. Responsible for lab inventory, to include prudent management of catheters, implants, and all other supplies. Oversight of all supplies and implants used in procedures with appropriate charging. Must be clinically oriented in all Cardiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology procedures performed in CCIR and surrounding areas relevant to service line. Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology (ARRT), Nursing (RN), or CCI certification (RCIS). Preferred Education: BA/BS in healthcare field

Required Skills:
Basic computer keyboard skills. Preferred Skills:
Meditech EMR, Hemodynamic monitoring, and cath unit proficiency.

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Certified Medical Radiology Technologist, RN, or RCIS. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
ACLS, Lean Six Sigma trainingRequired Experience:
Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab clinical experience
Preferred Experience:
Two or more years’ experience in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit
