Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students near Aurora, CO for the 2026/27 school year! This full-time, contract position focuses on speech-language services within a school-based environment. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 elementary-age students, collaborating daily with dedicated educators and families.
Your expertise will be pivotal in helping students strengthen communication and language skills, making a real difference every day. Those with the ability to provide bilingual (Spanish) services will find this skill highly valued, although it is not required. A supportive atmosphere and professional growth await as you embark on this rewarding journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP certification or license is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Qualifications may include SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
- Prior experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students M-F
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related personnel to support student growth
- Maintain diligent documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and compliance processes
