Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, self starter, results-driven and well-connected Sales Manager to cover California and the western open territories. This role will focus on developing new client relationships and growing business across nursing, allied health, and locum tenens staffing opportunities. The ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles, work in a hybrid model (office, remote, and site visits as needed), and thrive in a dynamic, self-directed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and develop new client relationships across the California region and assigned territories.
- Focus on clinic partnerships in nursing, allied health, and locum tenens staffing.
- Conduct discovery meetings with healthcare organizations to understand staffing needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate closely with the internal recruiting team and recruiting manager to ensure the seamless delivery of qualified healthcare professionals to clients by sharing complete job details, responsibilities, and required qualifications to guarantee top-notch coverage and an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the territory.
- Represent ATC West Healthcare at industry events and networking opportunities as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in healthcare sales, staffing, or related business development role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing, allied health, and locum tenens markets is highly preferred.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Must be based in Los Angeles with the ability to work both in-office and remotely.
- Must have a home office set up.
- Proficient with CRM systems and Google Workspace.
- Team-oriented, professional, and solution-focused.
