Supply Management Specialist
Horicon, WI- Full Time
Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Horicon, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate willsupport and may lead a commodity Strategic Sourcing team with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for enterprise/region/division/unit. Build and develop a supply base for procuring less complex and strategic materials, products, supplies and services. Responsible for quality, delivery, supplier performance and establishing appropriate material replenishment process. Coordinate and lead efforts to address chronic supplier performance issues and/or validation of suppliers during the early supplier selection process as part of Enterprise Product Delivery Process (PDP). Facilitate quality planning activities with suppliers.
This full-time position is indefinite in duration with theopportunityof professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Coordinate and manage supplier relationships to optimize supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply data using SAP or equivalent business systems for efficient resource planning.
- Utilize intermediate Excel skills to support data management and reporting processes.
- Schedule and conduct supplier visits as needed to ensure compliance and gather insights.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external suppliers to maintain a smooth flow of operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supply management role.
- At least 6 months of experience with SAP or an equivalent business system.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid drivers license.
- Travel Requirements: As needed visits to suppliers.
