  • EMR Systems: Currently Cerner, transitioning to Epic in September 2026 (Epic CDI experience a plus)\n

\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) or related clinical documentation roles\n
  • Strong background in clinical acuity assessment, documentation improvement, and quality improvement initiatives\n
  • Solventum 360 workflow experience is required\n
  • Ability to perform both initial and subsequent inpatient CDI reviews and follow-up queries\n
  • Comfortable meeting production expectations of 18–25 cases per day (CDI productivity)\n
  • RN (ADN or BSN) or domestic Foreign MD with strong CDI skillset accepted; CDI RN and CDI MD candidates encouraged to apply\n
  • Experience with Epic CDI workflow and Cerner is a plus\n
  • Prior experience with "Conway" CDI reviewer skillset preferred\n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration and documentation query management\n

  • Conduct initial and subsequent inpatient CDI reviews to ensure accurate, thorough, and compliant clinical documentation\n
  • Maintain high productivity, reviewing 18–25 cases per day while ensuring documentation quality and coding support\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, coding, and case management teams to clarify clinical documentation and improve patient care quality\n
  • Support quality improvement, clinical validation, and DRG/query initiatives as part of the CDI program\n
  • Adapt to evolving workflows and support potential expansion to 2nd-level CDI reviews\n
  • Stay current with EMR transitions (Cerner to Epic) and best practices in CDI, clinical documentation, and medical coding\n
