Job Details:

• Must work Thursday through Saturday block schedule (non-negotiable)
\n• Work in Universal Care Unit and assist with overflow patient care (MS, MS/Tele)
\n• May float within the hospital based on UCU census
\n• 2 years of experience required
\n• Previous travel experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• BSN not required
\n• Cerner charting system experience preferred
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Care for a range of acuities from MS to PCU-level patients
\n• Skills required: ER holding, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, telemetry remote monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams
\n• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
\n• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
\n• On-site drug screen required with multiple panel testing
\n• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start date
\n• Expect to work some holidays
\n• 50-mile local radius policy applies
