The Granite Polisher is a skilled professional who specializes in preparing, polishing, and repairing granite surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish. Working as part of a polishing team and reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role requires careful attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the physical stamina to perform demanding tasks. Overtime work may be needed to meet project deadlines, with no travel required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare granite surfaces for polishing by cleaning and smoothing imperfections
• Execute polishing techniques to achieve the desired finish on granite
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Perform minor surface repairs as needed to restore granite integrity
• Clean and maintain the work area and tools after polishing tasks

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in stone polishing

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of stone polishing techniques and surface preparation
• Proficient in the use of polishing tools
• Understanding of safety procedures relevant to polishing work
