Eco Safe Abatement, a leader in asbestos abatement and removal services in Portland, is seeking an experienced Abatement Manager / Project Director to join our team. We deliver reliable, eco-friendly solutions with a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage abatement projects from planning through completion, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

  • Supervise and direct abatement crews, providing clear guidance and support to ensure efficient, high-quality work.

  • Coordinate site decontamination and clearance testing post-removal.

  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • At least 4 years of experience in abatement project management or a related field.

  • Proven experience running crews and managing teams in an abatement or construction environment.

  • Must have a current Oregon Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Certification.

    • This requires successful completion of supervisor-level training, at least one year of full-scale friable asbestos abatement experience (including use of powered air-purifying respirators), and documented experience on at least ten separate friable asbestos abatement projects[1][2][3].

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for asbestos and hazardous material removal.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
