Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Mansfield, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial processes and ensuring accuracy in daily operations. Responsibilities:
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and matched.
• Handle invoicing for two small subsidiaries, including calculating commissions based on vendor payments.
• Utilize a remote scanner to process daily deposits efficiently.
• Manage payment approvals and rejections using the Positive Pay system.
• Reconcile cleared checks within the organizational accounting system.
• Assist with month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems.
• Solid experience with General Ledger management and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows.
• Expertise in preparing and posting journal entries.
• Demonstrated ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and related tasks.
