Position Overview


The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as a strategic partner within the Human Resources team, leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across the entire organization. This individual will be responsible for building and executing scalable talent acquisition strategies, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and partnering closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to fill critical roles. The scope of responsibility spans all departments, including Corporate C-level leadership positions, Accounting, iConstruct, iDnA, and iManufacturing. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a central role in shaping Impact Housings workforce and strengthening our employer brand in the market.


Key Responsibilities


Full-Cycle Recruiting & Strategy

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, selecting, and onboarding candidates.
  • Fill positions across all departments and levels of the organization, including Corporate C-level executives, Accounting, iConstruct, iDnA, and iManufacturing teams.
  • Partner with HR leadership and department heads to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and long-term hiring objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning.
  • Establish strong pipelines of candidates for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles through proactive sourcing, networking, and market research.


Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Enhance Impact Housings employer brand through creative recruitment campaigns, social media presence, career fairs, and professional networking events.
  • Host and attend job fairs and recruiting events in the community, and actively partner with local government agencies, workforce development organizations, and trade schools.
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events at colleges and universities to strengthen early-career pipelines and connect with emerging talent.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by embedding inclusive hiring practices into recruitment processes.
  • Ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.


Metrics & Compliance

  • Hold regular one-on-one meetings with the HR Manager to:
    • Review current open roles and provide updates.
    • Forecast upcoming hiring needs to align recruitment strategies.
    • Analyze workforce data to assess retention rates, turnover rates, and hiring effectiveness.
  • Generate and deliver regular recruitment and retention reports to HR leadership.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with hiring processes, HR policies, and all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
    • Time-to-fill (average days to fill open positions)
    • Cost-per-hire (recruitment expenses per hire)
    • Quality of hire (new hire performance and cultural fit)
    • First-year retention rate (percentage of new hires retained beyond 12 months)
    • Offer acceptance rate (ratio of offers extended vs. accepted)
    • Diversity hiring metrics (representation across hires)


Technology & Data

  • Leverage HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment tools to drive efficiency and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment metrics to support strategic decision-making.


Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with the HR Manager on workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to hiring managers on effective recruitment and interview practices.
  • Lead special HR projects related to talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention.



Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 57 years of progressive recruitment and full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully recruiting for a wide variety of roles, including executive-level (C-suite), corporate functions, and technical/operational positions.
  • Strong knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques, interview methodologies, and employment laws.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and modern recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
