Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and flexible Support Staff member to assist throughout the center. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children of all ages and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The Support Staff (Float) helps classrooms run smoothly by assisting teachers, covering breaks, and supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in classrooms as needed
- Provide coverage for staff breaks and absences
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Support childrens daily routines (meals, transitions, activities, etc.)
- Engage positively with children through play and interaction
- Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and daily tasks
- Follow all licensing and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with all staff and administration
- Step into different classrooms and adapt as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (preferred but not required)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to different age groups and classroom needs
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements
