This 16-week travel assignment in a renowned stepdown progressive care unit offers an exceptional chance to expand your clinical expertise. Collaborate with seasoned healthcare professionals, engage in innovative nursing practices, and witness various leadership styles—all excellent resume-builders for any Registered Nurse. With a rotating schedule and 36 hours per week, you’ll also have ample downtime to enjoy the island’s natural wonders, from scenic beaches to hiking trails.
Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating shifts
- 36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown
- Strong Telemetry/ICU stepdown background required
- Extensive prior float pool experience highly preferred
- EPIC EMR proficiency essential
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, AHA or APEX NIHSS
Role Expectations:
- Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to stepdown/progressive care patients with complex cardiac needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Confidently adapt between units as needed in a float-pool friendly environment
- Document care and monitor patient status using EPIC EMR
