Role Summary

The Clinical Specialist role is a remote field-based position that entails handson education through training courses and lab events, supports clinical evaluations of the company's solutions in hospital settings, and partners with commercial teams to accelerate adoption. The role blends ORlevel clinical expertise with clear communication, structured execution, and a service mindset.



Responsibilities

  • Own endtoend execution of education programs: schedule, logistics, onsite setup/teardown, and postevent follow
  • Educate surgeons and OR teams on safe, effective product use; translate clinical technique into practical best practices.
  • Participate in partnerhosted courses and represent the portfolio at select industry meetings and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with physicians/consultants to define simple, meaningful outcomes criteria for evaluations and case series.
  • Drive clinical awareness via hospital symposiums and related events; capture and route qualified leads through CRM.
  • Enable internal and external teams with targeted inservices and refreshers aligned to procedure workflows.
  • Monitor clinical and hospital market trends; communicate insights and opportunities to leadership.
  • Surface new product concepts and improvement ideas based on field feedback and OR observations.
  • Create and update clinical education assets (e.g., quickreference guides, pearls, and procedure checklists).
  • Comply with all hospital vendor credentialing and quality requirements; complete timely, accurate expense reporting.



Requirements

  • 5+ years in a clinical/hospital environment; Orthopedics, Trauma, or Spine experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, RN, PAC, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Clear, confident communication with clinicians and hospital administrators.
  • Proven facilitation skills; calm under pressure with difficult scenarios.
  • Strong organization and time management across multiple concurrent events and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM preferred.
  • Comfort in cadaver labs and OR settings; able to attend procedures as needed.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 70% domestically/internationally, including some weekends.
  • Commitment to quality systems and applicable regulatory standards.
