Title: Transportation Supervisor

🏭 Operation Overview
- 135 routes per week
- 5.5M cases shipped annually
- National accounts & customers
- Tenured driver workforce with strong team culture
👥 Team Structure
- Reports to Transportation Manager
- Team includes: 3 Transportation Supervisors & 1 Routing Supervisor
- ~40 Delivery Drivers
- Direct Reports: 12–15 drivers per Supervisor
- Strong, supportive transportation leadership in place
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily transportation execution across routes and drivers
- Drive safety, compliance, and on-time delivery performance
- Coach and develop drivers while maintaining accountability
- Partner with routing, warehouse, and customer teams
- Monitor KPIs, service metrics, and cost control
- Support culture building and driver engagement initiatives
✅ Ideal Background
- Experience managing delivery drivers in route-based operations
- Touch freight environment experience strongly preferred
- CDL preferred (not required)
- Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and accountability
