Provide skilled nursing care in a dynamic medical-surgical unit located in Derry, NH. Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in a 29-bed medical-surgical unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1
- Collaborate with Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in providing comprehensive care
- Utilize advanced equipment, including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry monitoring
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Meditech Expanse system
- Participate in bedside care conferences and safety rounding to enhance patient experience
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain a professional appearance; no specific scrub color required
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
- Work a schedule that includes every other weekend
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of acute care experience
- Proficient in dysrhythmia recognition and management
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to operate medical technology such as telemetry and infusion pumps
