Job Description

Job DescriptionLead Production Excellence at KIK Consumer Products

We build trusted brands that help families keep their homes and pools clean, sanitized, and protected. Join a team that values accountability, collaboration, and agility—and delivers with integrity.

A Day in the Role

At 4:00 PM, the lines ramp up and you're at the helm. You brief operators, confirm priorities with the Production Manager, and set clear expectations for safety, quality, and throughput. As the shift unfolds, you remove roadblocks, balance staffing, and drive output to hit schedule commitments. You monitor counts, speeds, and variances in real time, trigger work notifications, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and materials to keep production moving. When issues arise, you apply Lean/Six Sigma problem-solving, coach the team, and close the loop with corrective actions. By 4:00 AM, you've documented performance, communicated results, and teed up a smooth handoff.

Shift Schedule

4:00 PM – 4:00 AM, Monday–Thursday; occasional Fridays based on business need.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coach production operators to achieve daily schedules, output targets, and quality standards.
  • Partner with the Production Manager on priorities, staffing plans, and shift performance.
  • Uphold Health & Safety, GMP, housekeeping, and quality requirements across the floor.
  • Boost operating efficiency by identifying gaps, minimizing downtime, and executing timely corrective actions.
  • Initiate work notifications and manage data entry in SAP; participate in Management of Change (MOC) and incident investigations.
  • Maintain complete, accurate shift records: production counts, machine speeds, downtime, and all SOP-required reporting.
  • Coordinate high-volume work orders with cross-functional teams to sustain flow.
  • Consistently and fairly enforce company policies, safety rules, and GMP standards.
  • Oversee staffing, onboarding, training, performance coaching, and corrective action.
  • Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability for all direct reports.
  • Track and report efficiencies, rework, and production variances; share results with line teams and guide improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and partners via email and business tools.
  • Accurately complete computer-based reporting, documentation, and data entry using SAP and Microsoft Office.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • 3+ years supervising in a manufacturing setting; 5+ years total manufacturing experience.
  • Hands-on understanding of production operations, workflows, and floor execution.
  • Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma; able to apply structured problem-solving to real production challenges.
  • Proven leadership that drives results and influences across levels; comfortable leading change.
  • Strong sense of urgency with prioritization skills; delivers against deadlines despite obstacles.
  • Safety-first mindset; proven ability to mentor and coach toward a stronger safety culture.
  • Clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; collaborates well with operations, quality, maintenance, and more.
  • Track record of meeting production schedules and improving line efficiency.
  • Ability to wear respiratory protective equipment for extended periods when required.
