JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating clinical staff schedules and staffing in collaboration with unit Clinical Coordinators/Directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES · Matching client schedules with compatible caregivers. · Assuring that the schedule is current and up to date at any given time. · Office and clerical activities as directed. · Input of information into computer systems. · Providing support in assisting nursing personnel with staffing and payroll issues. · Providing support in managing clinical staff time and attendance processes including daily collection and reporting of service line productivity data. · Support and assist other office staff as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS · Two to three years previous administrative assistant experience is required. · Previous experience in a hospital and/or medical setting is required. · Previous experience with scheduling/staffing in a healthcare setting is very strongly preferred. · Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS · Usually works in well lighted, well ventilated area.
