POSITION SUMMARY
The Remote Community Relations Director Specialist plays a critical role in driving occupancy growth across one or more Cogir communities by handling incoming leads remotely, scheduling community tours, and gaining remote commitments for move-ins.
This position requires a consultative, customer-focused approach to build trust with prospective residents and their families, guiding them seamlessly from the initial inquiry stage through to commitment. Operating in a fully remote capacity, the CRD Specialist partners closely with community teams to ensure Cogir’s high standards of service and care are upheld throughout the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and respond to incoming leads promptly and professionally via phone, email, and CRM system.
- Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual tours for prospective residents and their families.
- Proactively follow up with prospects and referral sources to strengthen relationships and maintain engagement.
- Secure remote commitments for move-ins by effectively presenting community features, benefits, and addressing any concerns.
- Accurately track and maintain all lead activity within the Customer Relationship Management system (Yardi).
- Provide sales activity reports with updates on lead status, next steps, and closing needs.
- Collaborate with community sales teams to meet and exceed occupancy and revenue goals.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring consistent, professional communication and service.
Requirements:
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- A High School diploma is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in relational sales, preferably in assisted living, independent living, hospitality, or healthcare settings.
- A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong time management, initiative, and sound judgment skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Professional ethics with a positive attitude, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software.
WORK SETTING:
- Fully remote, Monday through Friday.
- Travel Expectations: Rarely, limited to training.
