Inventory Specialist – Brooklyn Park, MN-Contract to Hire | Pay up to $30/hr (DOE)

KeyStaff Professionals is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Brooklyn Park seeking a skilled Inventory Specialist to join their team! This is a great opportunity to step into a dynamic, hands-on role supporting production and warehouse operations.

About the Role:
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring materials are available for production, and keeping the warehouse organized and efficient. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Track and maintain accurate inventory counts through regular audits
Organize and rotate stock to ensure product quality and efficiency
Process restock and replenishment orders to avoid shortages
Identify, investigate, and resolve any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
Support warehouse layout optimization and space utilization
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in inventory control
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred
High school diploma required; degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field a plus
Ability to work occasional early Saturday shifts
Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail
