Doll Services has an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Project Salesperson. This role is responsible for driving sales of commercial HVAC replacement, design-build, and retrofit projects. You'll also work closely with our established customer base to identify and support their ongoing project and service needs.

Position: Commercial HVAC Project Salesperson

Pay: $85,000 to $100,000 salary + great commission structure

Work Hours: Monday through Friday

Essential Job Function:

Project Sales and Relationship Building: Drive sales for HVAC commercial replacements, design-build, and retrofit projects. Identify and qualify prospects, conduct needs assessments and deliver impactful sales presentations. Maintain a schedule of client appointments.

Achieve Sales Targets: Qualify and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and monitor progress towards targets. Create customized sales strategies. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Estimating and Proposals: Develop accurate estimates and detailed proposals. Offering options and upgrades to enhance efficiency and comfort. Analyze project specifications, design requirements, and cost considerations to prepare detailed and accurate project proposals and bids. Using ProCore and Building Connected.

Maintain Industry Knowledge: Stay current with advancements in HVAC technology, industry standards, and best practices. Engage in ongoing training, certifications, and expand technical expertise. Remain informed on emerging trends, sustainability practices, and energy efficiency solutions.

Project Documentation and Procurement: After a project is sold, work with the General Manager to complete all project documentation, including job setup, submittals, and O&M manuals. Issue purchase orders for equipment and materials. Prepare and manage change orders, documentation, invoicing, and clear communication with clients and the project team.

Project Scheduling and Progress Management: Collaborate with the General Manager and project team to create detailed schedules and set clear progress expectations. Monitor timelines, ensure adherence, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams to address any issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Project Oversight and Coordination: Track project progress from initiation through completion, working closely with contractors to manage building and schedule changes. Conduct site inspections to verify that milestones are being met, and quality standards are maintained.

Job Completion and Billing: Verify that all work has been completed satisfactorily and ensure that final billings are prepared and submitted promptly.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in HVAC commercial project sales / management, design, or estimating.
  • Mechanical HVAC Sales experience
  • Proven experience in project planning from start to finish
  • Skilled managing building crews and contractors
  • AutoCAD experience - preferred
  • Procore and Building Connected experience - preferred
  • Purchasing experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing training and education for new technology
