Job Description
Join our dynamic team in a production environment where we produce a variety of food products. As a 1st Shift Stacker, you will be integral to our production lines, ensuring smooth operation by boxing and stacking products, loading and unloading items into machines, palletizing, and wrapping finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Work on production lines, boxing and stacking products.
- Load and unload products into machines.
- Palletize and wrap finished products.
- Handle boxes weighing 15-20 pounds, loading them on the front of the machine or stacking them on a pallet at the end.
- Open boxes with empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift.
- Follow all GMP practices to ensure quality and safety.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.
- Comfortable standing on feet for shifts ranging from 10-12 hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively on a production line.
- Experience in high-speed production line operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse operations.
- General labor and production worker experience.
- Skills in using pallet jacks and packing.

Work Environment
Work in a vibrant food manufacturing setting that is cold in winter and warm in summer, with exposure to strong smells like garlic and salsa. Shifts are 10-12 hours, requiring comfort standing long hours. Protective gear such as gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses are provided, but steel-toe boots must be supplied by the worker. Temporary workers wear royal blue shirts, with two provided at start. Collaborate with a diverse team, including Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers, in a facility housing up to 200 people during peak season. Enjoy access to lockers, a break room with microwaves, and vending machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
