Position Summary
The Student Experience Coordinator plays a critical role in managing internship placements at Rosecrance by establishing relationships with academic institutions, coordinating with school advisors, and conducting interviews with candidates. This role ensure successful placements by working with staff to identify opportunities, providing support for interns and supervisors, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Additionally, this position offers workshops, training, and routine check-ins to
ensure a positive experience while facilitating communication between all parties. Through proactive planning, relationship—building, and oversight, the Student Experience Coordinator ensures that Rosecrance provides an enriching and supportive environment for students, contributing to professional growth and success within the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health related field or equivalent experience and training
• Demonstrated clinical experience working in a behavioral health related field
• Ability to coordinate and lead meetings with both internal and external agencies
• Strong analytical and continuous improvement skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in use of computers and Windows-based programs
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
Responsibilities
- Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
- Field and respond to internship and student placement inquiries.
- Establish and maintain relationships with representatives from various academic institutions that seek
student placement at Rosecrance. - Work directly with school internship coordinators and advisors on placements.
- Conduct interviews with internship candidates to determine organizational fit.
- Work with Rosecrance staff and leaders to identify appropriate internship placements throughout the
organization. - Schedule and provide routine check-ins with placed interns to support their experience at
Rosecrance. - Schedule and routinely meet with internship supervisors for status updates.
- Collaborate with Human Resources for all formal onboarding for interns.
- Serve as a liaison between the students and internship supervisors as needed.
- Offer workshops for interns to learn about career options, licensing, and certification.
- Provide training to internship supervisors as needed on internship program guidelines and
expectations. - Collaborate with interns and schools to ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted
ahead of placement start dates. - Attend applicable job and internship fairs to promote Rosecrance student experiences and generate
applicants. - Coordinate all student nursing placements within Rosecrance programming.
- Conduct orientations for all nursing student programs, as well as Medical and PA students.
- Coordinate medical student, APN and Pa student rotations throughout Rosecrance with the
appropriate providers and preceptors. - Work directly with the legal department to ensure all student placement agreements/school affiliation
agreements and reviewed and approved for signature. - Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate
Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. - Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of
Rosecrance. - Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations
in representing Rosecrance. - Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

- Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
- Shift: 1st shift

Compensation
- Starting Pay: $64,688 (based on education, experience, and credentials)
