Job Description
Assemble electrical systems in alignment with customer requirements using detailed production drawings. Integrate and connect fluid systems—including sensors, relays, switches, full cabinet installation/build—based on technical schematics. Estimate project timelines to support accurate customer quoting and planning. Record each step of the build process to aid future diagnostics and reference. Partner with machine assembly teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Organize and archive project data to better anticipate and fulfill future customer needs. Review completed projects against initial estimates to refine forecasting and improve delivery accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical systems according to customer requirements and detailed production drawings.
- Integrate and connect fluid systems, including sensors, relays, switches, and full cabinet installations, based on technical schematics.
- Estimate project timelines to support accurate customer quoting and planning.
- Record each step of the build process for future diagnostics and reference.
- Collaborate with machine assembly teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Organize and archive project data to anticipate and fulfill future customer needs.
- Review completed projects against initial estimates to refine forecasting and improve delivery accuracy.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in electrical assembly and wiring from diagrams.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.
- Experience with assembly, blueprint reading, mechanical assembly, and soldering.
- Skillful use of hand and power tools.
- Understanding of electrical schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with electrical wiring from diagrams is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in heavy electrical assembly or machine building in any industry.
- Immediate knowledge of utilizing precision measurement tools is essential.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The facility is very clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit, providing a comfortable and efficient working environment. Breaks and lunches are scheduled to ensure a balanced workday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
