Position: FP&A Manager – Commercial Operations & Strategy

Our client, a world-class leader in the global agricultural and energy commodities sector, is looking for a strategic FP&A Manager to serve as a key financial architect for their Enterprise Customer Development division.
The Opportunity
In this high-impact role, you will lead the financial support for the company’s "Go-to-Market" (GTM) strategies. This isn't just about reporting; it’s about driving volume and margin growth across a massive, matrixed global enterprise. You will act as the primary financial partner to executive sales and customer development leaders, translating complex data into actionable commercial insights.
Core Responsibilities
- Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals, ensuring accuracy in work products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- GTM Strategy: Partner with the executive team to design and implement enterprise-wide commercial initiatives. You will establish success metrics, monitor ROI, and ensure financial alignment with long-term corporate goals.
- Commercial Insights: Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer segments and product margins. You will identify risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to optimize the wholesale and retail sales mix.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated, scalable financial models to support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and predictive forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside the Strategy and Business Intelligence teams to integrate market trends and benchmarks into the decision-making process.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. An MBA, CPA, or CMA is highly preferred.
- Experience: At least 4+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and team leadership.
- Technical Excellence: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/BPC preferred), CRM software, and data visualization tools. You should be comfortable pivoting between big-picture strategy and granular data sets.
- Business Acumen: Previous experience supporting a sales or commercial organization is a significant advantage. You must be able to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability in predictive analytics and high-level financial modeling.
