We are growing and seeking a motivated Night Shift Vascular Access Nurse to join our dedicated clinical team.

Position Overview

The Night Shift Vascular Access Nurse is responsible for performing ultrasound-guided peripheral IV insertions and vascular access assessments for patients in acute and post-acute settings. This role is ideal for nurses with strong IV skills who want to expand their vascular access expertise in a supportive, team-focused environment.

PICC line experience is not required — we will train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placements and assist with vascular assessments.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely and appropriate vascular access for patients.
  • Document all procedures accurately and in accordance with facility and company policies.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and care teams to ensure comfort, safety, and procedural success.
  • Participate in ongoing education and skill development to maintain high clinical standards.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact state).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (hospital or acute care preferred).
  • Ultrasound experience preferred but not required — training provided.
  • Strong IV insertion skills and comfort working independently at night.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
