Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck, truck, rear loader truck, or dump truck
- Load and unload waste containers onto the truck using mechanical knowledge and equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving the truck
- Communicate with dispatch to receive pick-up and delivery instructions
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting
- Knowledge of roll off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, or dump trucks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
