Responsibilities and Duties

  • Guide customers through the complete automotive sales process
  • Sell new and pre-owned vehicles while adhering to manufacturer and dealership policies
  • Explain vehicle features and benefits to clients
  • Present and clearly explain pricing and payment information compiled by sales managers
  • Demonstrate vehicle technologies and features
  • Collaborate closely with sales management and the finance team to finalize deals
  • Communicate with customers in person, via phone, email, and text
  • Deliver personalized experiences that build long-term customer relationships
  • Complete all required sales certification training and maintain certification status as directed by management

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of proven automotive sales history
  • Automotive sales experience required
  • Understanding of the automotive sales process required
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to continuously generate new business
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to consistently follow the sales process accurately
  • Friendly and professional demeanor at all times
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to explain vehicle pricing and financing options clearly
