This opportunity calls for a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) settings. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care tailored to the unique needs of neonatal patients and their families, while actively collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments upon patient admission and develop individualized care plans aligned with unit standards and family needs.
- Implement and adapt nursing interventions and patient care procedures based on ongoing evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all nursing activities to support effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Monitor neonatal patient intake and output meticulously.
- Assist mothers in initiating breastfeeding, promoting baby-friendly care practices.
- Administer medications responsibly, following proper barcode scanning protocols.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing hazards promptly.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, providing detailed reports on patient status.
- Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and pursue ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN licensure with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing experience.
