Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take your expertise in science education to the next level as a high school Chemistry educator. This contract position, situated near Manchester, NH, offers the chance to foster curiosity and learning in a supportive academic environment. You’ll be responsible for teaching general education Chemistry classes, engaging students with hands-on experiments, and collaborating closely with fellow faculty members.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a Science-related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Current teaching certification with Chemistry endorsement (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience teaching general education Chemistry at the high school level
  • Strong classroom management skills and an innovative approach to lesson planning
  • Passion for inspiring students and building a positive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
  • Deliver engaging lectures, labs, and demonstrations to foster student understanding
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects
  • Provide individualized support to help all learners succeed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science department’s offerings
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences
