Job Summary

We’re looking for a Nurse Manager for the Neonatal ICU (NICU) to join our Women’s Services team in Houston. This role supports our mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. You'll assist in managing departmental operations, providing leadership to nursing staff, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes through continuous improvement.

This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team in a growing unit.

This position reports directly to the Director of Women’s Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director in department management aligned with facility goals

  • Coordinate performance improvement initiatives

  • Ensure care delivery aligns with the nursing process and standards

  • Provide direct clinical and leadership support to staff

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in Women’s Services

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of recent acute care NICU leadership (Manager or Charge Nurse level)

  • BSN required

  • Current RN license in Texas or Compact RN license (must convert to Texas license within 60 days)

  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Work Schedule

  • Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Weekend rotation/on-call as required

  • 40 hours per week
