Job Description:

We are looking for a highly talented Document Control Specialist to join our team. Responsible for responsible for ensuring that all documents used at the facilities meet the QMS requirements, and for supporting the documentation required for operations at all Hasa facilities.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and the revision of documents per current QMS requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the revision documents from Hasa Docs to the Hasa Online Document structure and ensure the accuracy of the documents.
  • Support the development of procedures, work instructions, forms and related training materials.
  • Ensure that the Document Identification Number log, QMS Training Matrix, and the Corrective Action Request log are up to date.
  • Provide documentation support and guidance to internal customers and expertise in document contents and format documents with appropriate templates for consistency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that changes are accurate and are made in a timely manner.
  • Support QA Supervisors, QA Manager, and other site personnel to properly convert documents into appropriate formats.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the document control process and seek input on strategies and/or processes to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Support internal and external audits, and inspection activities through the retrieval and provision of requested documents and data in a timely manner.
  • Update changes needed on SOPs and forms by generating revisions and routing them to the QA Director and to subsequent approvals personnel.
  • Ensure that appropriate document approvals are obtained prior to the release of documents.
  • Announce the release of the documents to the appropriate team members primarily via email or other preferred methods of communication.
  • Work with the Quality Team and other site personnel to ensure that completed forms are scanned and organized into the appropriate folders.
  • Create or support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in document control in ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 environment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to details, organizational skills, analytical skills.
  • Strong computer and typing Skills.
  • Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 10-25 lb. objects.
  • Current driver’s license required.
