Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP certification to serve K-12 students in Fall River Mills, CA. This contract position runs for the full school year and offers flexibility with full-time or part-time schedules. Immediate start is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in delivering therapy services under your supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP - CCC and School SLP credentials.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a K-12 educational setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations.
- Supervisory experience working alongside an SLPA is a plus.
