📍 Location: Newark, CA (Onsite)
🔧 About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Software Engineer to support Access Control Systems across development and customer vehicles. This role involves close collaboration with validation engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, integrate, and ensure system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for fleet and customer vehicles
- Diagnose software/hardware issues using CAN bus, DTCs, DIDs, Grafana, CANoe, CANalyzer
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers
- Track and manage issues through resolution
- Participate in monthly on-call rotations
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in automotive diagnostics & CAN bus
- Familiarity with BLE, NFC, LF, UWB technologies
- Background in software & hardware development support
- EV/automotive experience is a plus
- Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
