Job DescriptionDescriptionArchdale Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing team in Archdale, NC.
We are looking for a full-time RVT who is passionate about patient care, client education, and teamwork, and who enjoys using their full technical skill set in a collaborative general practice environment.
This role is ideal for a technician with at least one year of experience supporting veterinary teams in a general practice or emergency setting who is ready to continue building their technical expertise while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families.

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities
- Safely handle and restrain canine and feline patients
- Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and treatment information
- Monitor hospitalized and recovering patients
- Assist veterinarians with examinations and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care for patients throughout their visit
- Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Administer medications (PO, SQ, IM, IV)
- Assist with anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Provide surgical preparation and assistance
- Perform diagnostic imaging including radiographs
- Conduct in-house laboratory testing including bloodwork and urinalysis
- Support dental procedures and patient monitoring
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients
- Provide education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Help ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident in their pet’s care
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RVT in a veterinary hospital (general practice or emergency setting)
- Strong technical skills including phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostic support
- Excellent animal handling and patient care abilities
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team members
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy clinical environment

Here is What We Will Offer You:$20 – $25 per hour, based on experience, technical confidence, and skill set.We proudly offer the Headstart Student Loan Repayment Program for Registered Veterinary Technicians who have:
- Graduated from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
- Passed the VTNE
- Completed their program within the last 3 years
