\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)\n
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)\n
- Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience post-graduation\n
- Experience in Stepdown, ICU, or LTAC settings (critical care or complex care experience preferred)\n
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans for LTAC patients\n
- Provide skilled critical/complex care typical of LTAC and stepdown populations during night shifts\n
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and orientees; delegate appropriately\n
- Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols\n
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner\n
- Participate in patient rehabilitation efforts with a focus on education, discharge planning, and quality outcomes\n
- Communicate changes in patient status to interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care\n
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork to maintain a positive, efficient unit environment\n
- Pursue professional growth through continuing education and evidence-based practice\n
- Perform other duties as assigned to support unit operations\n
