A part-time licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Nellis AFB, NV. This contract opportunity requires commitment of 1.5 days per week during the current school year (CSY). Key qualifications and skills include:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience or certification in school-based speech therapy
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for early career candidates
- Pediatric speech-language therapy expertise
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Provide services in compliance with federal and state educational regulations
