CNC Set-Up/Machinist- 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Location: Muskegon Area
We are working with a great local manufacturing company that is looking to add an experienced CNC Machinist to their 1st shift team. This is a clean, well-run shop with strong leadership, steady work, and long-term opportunity.
Shift:
1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
What You'll Be Doing:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including Haas and Mazak equipment
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and verify correct tooling
- Make offset adjustments and program edits at the machine as needed
- Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machining issues and keep machines running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with Haas and/or Mazak CNC machines
- Ability to perform setups, offsets, and minor program edits
- Understanding of blueprints and machining tolerances
- Experience with CNC mills or lathes
- Strong attention to detail and quality
