We're seeking a hard-working Installer to install equipment and products within our Construction projects in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our successful installers are reliable, positive, willing to learn, love being part of a team, and are open to traveling to project sites.
What does an Installer do?
Our Field Installers are responsible for installing & repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different types of materials including plastic laminate, wood, and steel. They will be assigned to laboratory casework projects and will be required to travel to and from job sites with frequent overnights. Examples of equipment for the laboratory may include casework or laboratory equipment.
More specifically, the responsibilities are as follows:
- Follow established safety rules and regulations including PPE and OSHA standards.
- Will be responsible for unloading products off of trucks.
- Clean surfaces in preparation for materials.
- Install products within the specifications noted in drawings, while also having the ability to follow the supervisor’s instructions.
- Ability to learn new processes while following guidelines within efficiencies and quality.

- Available and willing to travel extensively to job sites for extended periods of time.
- Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Possess strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Knowledge of tools and basic operating use.
- Organized and capable of meeting deadlines as an individual or as a team.
- Positively represent the company.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Working Conditions:
- Able to travel to H2I Locations and/or Job Sites 95% of the time with frequent overnights.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, and speak to use the telephone and to communicate with individuals both inside and outside the organization.
- Effectively communicate and follow oral and written instructions, and possess arm, hand, and finger dexterity to use when reaching, handling, grasping, or using a keyboard.
- The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand.
- Ability to work outdoors, indoors in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, in high places, and in excavated areas.
- Must be able to climb a ladder, scaffolding, and stairs.
- Must be able to kneel, stoop and squat often.
- Ability to swing a hammer.
- Arm, hang & finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling.
- Ability to use hands and power tools.
- May work around chemicals, grinding and torching, and near cranes and moving equipment.
- Will work in close contact with other people.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Stand or walk for 8+ hours.
- Must have the ability to lift both arms overhead.
- Must possess keen vision and hearing.
