Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Jim Thorpe, PA. This contract position runs from January 12, 2026, through June 5, 2026, offering approximately 20 hours per week within the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on providing evaluations and direct services, including assistance with make-up services for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students.
- Deliver direct therapy services as needed.
- Assist with make-up sessions to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students individualized education plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in elementary school settings.
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and delivering speech-language therapy within school environments.
- Ability to work flexibly within school hours (8 AM to 3 PM).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
