We are seeking an Automation Technician to join our team. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to step up to the next level and apply field-learned technical skills. The ideal candidate would take on a crucial role in building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation and control systems, while providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a strong background in electrical and control systems, customer service, and the ability to work independently in the field. Keys to success will be a positive and self-starting attitude, the individual's knowledge of automated systems, and the skills needed to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot those systems. The ability to effectively communicate and interact with fellow team members and customers is a must.

Required Experience:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Technical degree or equivalent experience/training as it relates to automation
• Proven safety record in past work history
• Troubleshooting and modification of electrical circuits such as three phase systems, machine motor controls, electrical wiring, AC drives, DC controllers
• Math and reading comprehension to understand and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, bulletins, and technical manuals
• A background in E & I projects will be considered an asset.
• Programming/troubleshooting experience with industrial automation hardware and software systems including PLC's, HMI's and SCADA systems
• Proficient use of computers including Microsoft Office, Excel, Network settings, IP Addressing, etc.
