Are you a registered nurse with leadership experience looking for a Senior Director role?

We have an immediate opening for a HSA to work in a corrections setting in New Orleans, LA. This is a Monday through Friday role, daylight shift. You will supervise the Director of Nursing, and report directly to senior leadership within the organization.

This role is 75% administrative, and 25% clinical. You will occasionally see patients if your DON requests your assistance.

Our healthcare organization is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and experienced Permanent Health Services Administrator (RN) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical nursing experience with leadership and management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our healthcare services, ensuring we deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. This position will require a blend of strategic oversight and direct involvement in clinical practices.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of healthcare service delivery, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that promote patient safety, optimal care, and compliance with all healthcare regulations.
3. Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive, efficient, and effective healthcare service delivery.
4. Lead and manage the nursing team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
5. Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
6. Manage budgets and financial reports, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
7. Serve as a key communicator between patients, families, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
8. Participate in recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives for nursing staff.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
1. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role such as Nurse Manager, RN Manager, Nurse Supervisor, DON, or Health Services Administrator.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in healthcare administration, including budgeting, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
4. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of individuals, from patients and their families to medical professionals and administrators.
6. Proven ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. Commitment to staying abreast of current trends and developments in healthcare administration and nursing care.
8. High level of integrity and dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients.
