Job Description

Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting students in a dynamic school environment as a paraprofessional. As part of a collaborative team, you'll play a vital part in providing inclusive educational experiences for children of all ages and varying abilities. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as assignments may include working with pre-K, elementary, middle, or high school students, or serving as a bus aide. You’ll be matched with the area of greatest need, which may involve assisting with personal care, feeding, toileting, mobility, and classroom engagement.

To thrive in this position, candidates must be compassionate, willing to assist wherever needed, and team-oriented. Strong communication skills and a desire to make a difference in students’ lives are essential.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or higher, OR at least 48 college units with a high school diploma, OR passing of CBEST and a high school diploma, OR passing of the Instructional Aide exam and high school diploma.
  • Specialized modules, experience, or certifications (such as First Aid/CPR, knowledge of sign language or Braille, or LVN license) are highly valued—please indicate any additional qualifications.
  • Willingness to perform any responsibilities assigned, including toileting, diapering, feeding, and health-related duties such as G-tube feeding.
  • At least six months of recent experience working as a paraprofessional in a school is preferred.
  • Physical ability to support students and stand for extended periods when needed.
  • For Bus Aide roles, flexibility to travel between locations as assigned.
  • Completion of district-mandated training modules as required.

You’ll enjoy a contract position with consistent weekday hours (ranging from 4.5 up to 8 hours/day depending on assignment type).

If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and join a team dedicated to helping every student succeed, submit your application now and highlight your relevant experience, certifications, and flexibility. We look forward to learning more about your passion for education!

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $35.52. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
