Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist with at least 2 years of CATH LAB experience. This contract position is based in New Braunfels, Texas, with assignments located at a highly regarded hospital in nearby San Antonio. Candidates must hold ARRT certification and a Texas Medical Board License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization lab, including heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate Bi-Plane Imaging Suites proficiently.
- Provide high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and procedural protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
- Float between units as required per hospital policy.
- Adhere to unit-specific dress code and professional appearance standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board License.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Cath Lab environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience operating Bi-Plane Imaging Suites.
- Ability and willingness to respond to on-call nights and weekend shifts.
- Meditech electronic medical record system experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Shift/Workdays:
- Schedule includes up to 40 hours per week.
- Night and weekend call requirements.
- Floating as needed, with adherence to the established floating policy.
