A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in OFallon, IL, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This opportunity is ideal for Illinois-certified professionals who hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and are ready to start immediately. The contract runs through June 5, 2026, providing stability and a chance to make a lasting impact on student communication and language development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Credentials as Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC
- Experience working within a school setting preferred

- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, parents, and students
Position Details:
- Location: OFallon, Illinois
- Contract duration: ASAP start June 5, 2026
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Comprehensive caseload involving assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting
- Provide therapy services that enhance students' communication skills
